An important goal of the Lutheran Partners CPE Center is to enrich, enhance and supplement spiritual and pastoral care in participating partner clinical sites.
Once the clinical site is agreed, the educational component of our program begins. The primary learning in our program takes place in small groups.
Three hundred clinical (or ministry) hours are required for one unit of CPE, divided into number of weeks per unit.
We’ve had students placed with clinical sites throughout United States. You can see those on the map above. Some of the sites included: nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, shelters, social agencies, military, congregations and other communities in need of pastoral care. Most of our clinical sites are one-time placements for specific students.
